Regis Pierre McGuire (born August 8, 1961), is an American/Canadian ice hockey analyst for National Hockey League broadcasts on NBC in the United States. Until 2011, he was a prominent hockey analyst on The Sports Network (TSN) in Canada. Previously, he was a player, coach, and scout. ==Early life== McGuire was born in Englewood Hospital and Medical Center in Englewood, New Jersey to a French-Canadian mother and an Irish-American father.〔Dellapina, John.
